i stumbled upon a ruger mini 14 ranch at big 5 and looked them up is the model with the removeable mag ca legal? or only the 5 round model?
while i was trying to find info on the mini 14 i also found the kel-tec su16 ca which i know is ca legal and has a removeable m16 style mag. anyone ever shot one? is it worth 600 bucks?

I cant stand kel-tec stuff. even though it uses ar mags. and yes ruger mini 14 and mini 30's are legal in cali.
best thing about both guns is that if you have pre ban 30 round mags you can use them in the mini 14 and the kel-tec. No pistol grip and no flash hider and no forward grip. Sloth Pm me any questions and i can send you links to make sure you understand everything.

here gun restriction is huge, but at least i can plink some birds with this:
it has 1000fps average depending on the pellets.
