I was mostly making comment on all the "tacticool" crap that people seem to love bolting only things... For me, it's simplicity... M4 with an Eotech 552. Job done.
Rifle based... probably a Remington 700 or perhaps an M14...

I don't like battle rifles with optics/scopes. Battle rifles use irons, DM rifles use optics.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some wood furniture.
It is just easier to get people stoked on some rails and aluminum,
than it is to get them stoked on some real steel.

Look back a couple pages, we have been talking about 1911's. A few of us have even posted our own... well, as much as we have so far...
