One gun or caliber of ammo won't satisfy every need. Of course that is why most gun owners have multiple weapons. Right tool for the job and all.

Since I don't have all that many tools at my apartment and I'm excited to get this frame finished, I broke out the files and sandpaper this evening and spent a good few hours blending the unmachined surfaces. After filing I used 600 sandpaper to clean things up then took some 1200 sandpaper and soapy water to the entire thing. I still need to polish out some file marks and do a little more blending but for the most part the front end is nearly complete. I'll for sure have to polish everything once all the cutting is finished but I got a pretty good head start.
