Post Your Guns
Birdmane:
Gander MTN price gouges.
You can find Blazer Brass and Wolf and UMC at walmart, 9mm and .40, for less than $9 per 50 which is good for these days.
You should shoot the gun before you buy it.
9mm is a great round and fun to shoot, .40 is snappy and makes double taps real hard.
Try a polymer gun and a metal gun.
I suggest getting a .22 pistol at first because it is really fun and cheap.
Then I would get a .45, 10mm, .357 sig, .357 revolver (best Bet/buy ever).
9mm and .40 get boring and you always want more power. A revolver in .38/.357 is the best ever.

FINALLY picked up a 1911 stainless casting. Most of the holes are finished, its already ground to size. This investment casting is NICE! Minor filing and its coming together. I fit the trigger & the magazine last night. I need to bore out one hole for the mag release and that will drop in.
From the looks of it I need to cut the slides, open up the main spring housing and cut the grooves for that, tap the grip bushing holes (od size and EXPENSIVE tap from Midway/Brownells, may order a couple custom coated taps for this), cut the tangs for a beaver tail grip safety, drill the ejector location holes, the holes for the plunger tube and that's about it!
Birdmane:
Fuck you couch that is awesome.

I do plan on shooting a few at one of the ranges here. I won't get a revolver though. I've shot my fair share of them and they've just never appealed to me for some reason. 9mm and .40 were also the most common (still didn't have much of either) and I saw one box of .45 and only a few of .38 and .357.
Birdmane:
You will want more power...it just doesn't stop.
